Update 2 added guilds to Command An Army. You can join a guild with an invite or found your own, and the Pro pass adds extra guild capacity, a custom badge and more ranks.
Guilds shipped with Update 2, and the live game name changed to [GUILD & RANKED] Command An Army, which the Roblox API itself confirms. They sit alongside the new ranked mode, so the two are the competitive and social core of the update.

Joining versus founding
You can drop into an existing guild with an invite, or create your own. Founding a guild costs resources up front, but gives you control over the roster and identity; joining is the faster way to play with a settled group. Either way the guild becomes a shared home for your army rather than a solo grind.
Single source, flagged: One creator showed a guild of 827 members that ranked first at the time it was shown (Noctis Imperialis). That is a creator report, not an official leaderboard, and it should not be read as ranking fact.
