Command An Army updates

Every version we can date, from the public launch to the next update the official event feed has already announced. Each entry links to the sources it rests on.

Current version on record: Update 2 - Guilds & Ranked (Sep 19-26, 2026) - timeline last updated 2026-09-21.

Planning around a weekly cadence

If this game really ships every week, any plan that takes longer than a week to pay off is built on sand. That is why the guides on this site stay short and the data stays current: a unit guide written for one patch is worth reading for roughly seven days. Practically, treat each update as a reset of your assumptions rather than an addition to them. Recheck the star cost of the units you rely on, recheck whether your favourite still has the same matchups, and expect at least one thing you believed last week to be wrong this week.

Rechecked every update

  • The live game title and version string, straight from the Roblox API.
  • Every code, against both trackers, including the ones that disagree with each other.
  • Star costs, because evolving changes them and balance passes can change them again.
  • The event feed, because the next window is published before the update lands.

Deliberately not chased

  • Damage and health numbers. They are not published, so any figure would be invented.
  • A complete level-to-star-limit table, which no source supports.
  • Daily code refreshes, which two larger trackers already do faster than this site could.
  • Unverified leaks. A rumour that turns out wrong costs more trust than it earns traffic.

How updates are dated here

Dates come from the Roblox virtual events feed where an official window exists, and from code release records where it does not. The live game title is a third signal, because the developers rename the game for headline releases: the current title still advertises Guilds and Ranked.

Why some entries are thin

A patch with no code release and no official window leaves almost no trace. The balance pass in this timeline is dated only because trackers noted a code going stale around it. Rather than pad that entry, this site says what is known and stops.

The release rhythm

Public launch, a content update a week later, a balance pass, then Guilds and Ranked a week after that. The next window is already scheduled. Weekly is the working assumption for this game, which is why the unit data and code list on this site are reviewed far more often than the guides.

    • New codesRANKED, GUILD, PARRY and RAPIER at 300 Gems each - now carried by two independent trackers, while a third tracker read on the same day omits all four.

Balance changes between updates

Not every change ships inside a numbered update. The line items below come from the developer's patch record between updates, and for anyone mid-progression they matter more than the version numbers: two of them moved units in our own database. Each figure rests on one source quoting that record, so it is labelled single source rather than stated as settled.

DateChangeDetail
2026-09-13Ranged range cutsThe Archer line and Crossbowman had their range reduced. Flaming Archers lost range in the same patch, but its burn now affects players as well as NPCs.
2026-09-13Javelineer reworkAfter the rework its throws ignore shield damage reduction, which turned a mid-tier ranged unit into an anti-shield answer. Its official card lists RNG 140 at Level 1.
2026-09-19Spearman and Pikeman squadsSquad size raised from 24 to 28, a direct buff to both steps of the spear line.
2026-09-21Rapier and Rapier KnightATK INT cut from 1.1 to 0.9 on both. Rapier Knight had Parry raised from 20% to 30%, so the pair traded damage for block rate.
2026-09-21SpartanBlockDurability cut from 110 to 100, the first direct nerf to the most-targeted unit in the game.

Two things follow from the table. Recheck any unit you rely on after a patch rather than after a version number, because the spear line and the Spartan both changed without a new version name. And treat a range cut as a nerf to your positioning, not just to a number: the units affected are the ones that need protection to work at all.

Watch it in action

Every video below passed two checks before it went on this page: it resolves through YouTube’s own oEmbed endpoint, so the title and channel shown are the real ones, and it ships English captions, which is where the points beside it were read from. Nothing here is described from a thumbnail or a guess.

UPDATE 2 GUILDS RANKED RAPIER KNIGHT REVIEW PROGRESSION NERFS NEW CODES COMMAND AN ARMY ROBLOX

Read from the transcript
  • Reports that troop mastery earnings and gem earnings were each cut by roughly 30% while level requirements rose by about 20%, which is the sort of economy change no text patch note states plainly.
  • Puts the summon price at 500 gems, which reframes the value of any gem source on this site against the cost of a single pull.
  • Notes that guild membership gates inviting other players to your party, so guilds are not purely cosmetic.
