Command An Army tier list
A tier list you can audit. Every placement states how many independent creators back it, and weaker claims stay out instead of being dressed up as fact.
How to read this: Ranked by reported role strength rather than by numbers. The game publishes no damage or health data, so any numeric ranking would be invented. Every placement that rests on a single source is labelled as such.

The four lists most players read, side by side
The four lists below are editorial rankings that publish no evidence, which is exactly why they are quoted side by side instead of being merged into the cited table above. Read the columns as five opinions: this site puts a unit in S tier only when at least two named creators place it there and labels the single-source placements in the bands below, while the other four are single-author rankings. Agreement across all five is the strongest signal available; a unit that only one list rates highly is a claim, not a fact. The four are not equally current: Sportskeeda (2026-10-16) is the only one that ranks the Mongol and Greek units shipped in Update 3 on 2026-10-03, while the other three predate or only partly cover that update.

Source dates: Pocket Tactics October 2026 (page marked Updated 1 month ago) by Quinn Collins / Games.gg 2026-09-14 by Larc / GameRant 2026-09-21 by Artur Novichenko / Sportskeeda 2026-10-16 by Spandan Chatterjee. A dash means that list did not rank the unit at all; Not ranked means the same for this site.
Where all five agree, and where they do not
Samurai, Flame Archer and Lancer sit in the top band of all four published lists, and two of those three are S tier here. Mace is the name every list puts on top and the one unit this site has never ranked: its 3 star cost is community-confirmed, but no creator breakdown tracked here has placed it, and a cost is not a ranking. Spartan is the other near-consensus pick, S on Pocket Tactics and A on the remaining three. Imperial Wall holds the same second band on three lists and is missing from Sportskeeda entirely.
The disagreements are worth more than the agreement. Berserker is C tier here because two creators rated it not worth the star cost, while three published lists put it in A and Sportskeeda puts it in S - the widest single gap on this page. Halberdier is A here and C on three of the four, with GameRant leaving it off completely. Cavalryman is S on Pocket Tactics, A on the other three and unranked here. Knight is A on Pocket Tactics and Sportskeeda but B on Games.gg and GameRant. Archer and Spearman are bottom band on all four published lists; this site keeps both one band higher because each still does a job at one star, and Archer is the entry point to the Fire Archer chain.
Sportskeeda is also the only list here that ranks what Update 3 shipped on 2026-10-03: Khorchin in S, Bataar and Nokor in A, and the Greek line's Laestragoniyan in S with Phalangite in A. Six of those names - Khorchin, Bataar, Nokor, Morningstar, Laestragoniyan and Phalangite - are not in this site's verified roster, so they appear as unranked rows rather than being quietly adopted. A single list is a lead, not a confirmation, and this site only promotes a unit into its own roster once a second source names it.
What separates the columns is evidence, not opinion. This site only moves a unit into a tier when two named creator reports put it there, so its blanks are real blanks rather than missed units. The other four are editorial rankings that cite no matches and state no sample, and only two of them date the reading to a specific day, which is why they are quoted in this table and never merged into the tier list above. If a unit matters to you and the columns disagree, trust the column you can check: every unit page here lists which creator said what.
Watch it in action
Every video below passed two checks before it went on this page: it resolves through YouTube’s own oEmbed endpoint, so the title and channel shown are the real ones, and it ships English captions, which is where the points beside it were read from. Nothing here is described from a thumbnail or a guess.
UNIT POWER RANKING TIERLIST (UPDATE 2 RANKED/RAPIER) COMMAND AN ARMY ROBLOX
AccelToWin · uploaded 2026-09-19 · 7:54
- Drops Archer to C tier specifically because of the September 13 range cut, which is the same patch this site records in its balance table.
- Calls Cavalry a weaker B tier, describing it as beginner-level cavalry, which fits the mid-chain role this site gives Cavalryman.
- Places Berserker in S tier, directly contradicting the other creator sources this site relies on, which rate it the weakest 4-star. Two creators, two opposite verdicts, printed side by side rather than averaged.

COMMAND AN ARMY BEST UNITS TIERLIST! ROBLOX
ItzVexo · uploaded 2026-09-11 · 8:05
- It names the same drop rates the odds table carries: Crossbowman at 4% from the banner and Scout Rider at 20%, which is the reading that makes the tiers checkable rather than a matter of taste.
- It separates the four-star picks by job instead of by rarity alone - Immortal for the rarest investment, Samurai as the melee unit to build around if it arrives early, Spartan for speed and range, Berserker for raw output.
- It puts Berserker at 38 damage per second, the highest of any unit it reviews, while calling its health the lowest, which is why it recommends keeping a frontline unit rather than four of them.
- Its closing advice is to keep upgrading your strongest available unit instead of chasing rarity too early, which is the same conclusion the army builder reaches from the other direction.

*BEST* IN DEPTH TIERLIST COMMAND AN ARMY (+ NEW UNITS) | WE HAVE ATLEAST 8 BRAINCELLS!
Linjun · uploaded 2026-09-13 · 16:00
- Built the tier list right after a fresh update, covering the newly added units alongside the established roster.
- Defines the scale (interpretation): B tier and above are usable, S is the ceiling limited by the in-game star system, C and D only if no better option exists.
- Creator framing: anything B or higher is worth running; lower tiers are filler until you pull better units.

I Obtained the *BEST* Units in Command An Army!
Rexon · uploaded 2026-09-10 · 28:00
- Walks through a run using what he calls the strongest units in the game, naming Samurai and Spartan among the units he rates highly.
- Points out that even the best units take a lot of currency to farm, so the grind matters before you can field a top roster.

How this ranking is built
This list ranks units from recorded matches, and ties each claim back to the creator who made it. That is the honest basis for a Command An Army tier list: the developer publishes no per-unit combat stats and balance shifts weekly, so a damage column would be a guess dressed as data. Where a unit's numbers are unknown, its page says so on that specific field rather than filling it in.
How to argue with this list
Every entry points at a unit page that states where the claim came from and whether one creator or several said it. If you disagree, the useful form of disagreement is a clip: show the matchup going the other way at equal star cost, and the entry gets corrected with the source attached.
Tier list FAQ
- Which Command An Army tier list should I trust?
- Use agreement as the signal and treat any single list as one opinion. Samurai, Flame Archer and Lancer sit in the top band of all four published lists and of this one, which is the safest thing to act on. Where the lists split - Berserker, Halberdier, Cavalryman, Knight - the disagreement is printed in the comparison table instead of being averaged into a fake consensus.
- Why is Mace missing from this tier list?
- Because no creator breakdown tracked here has placed it, and a placement needs two named reports. Its 3 star cost is community-confirmed and it appears in the unit database, but a ranking is a different claim from a cost, so Mace stays out of the cited table and appears in the comparison instead, where all four published lists put it in their top band.
- How is this tier list built?
- From what creators report in gameplay breakdowns, with the number of independent sources attached to every entry. It is a consensus read, not a measured ranking.
- Why is there no damage or DPS column?
- Because the game publishes no damage or health numbers. Any DPS figure on a Command An Army tier list is invented, ours included.
- Will this change after the next update?
- Almost certainly. Update 3 shipped the Mongol and Greek unit lines on 2026-10-03, and the Halloween event opened on 2026-10-31 with its contents still unannounced, so any new unit or balance change inside that window invalidates part of this list. Sportskeeda already ranks five Update 3 units that this site has not verified, which is the clearest example of how fast the roster outruns a ranking.
Tier list or tierlist: the same ranking
Command An Army tier list and Command An Army tierlist are the same search with a space in a different place, and they lead to the same table above. What matters here is not the ordering format but what the ordering is based on: role fit, star cost and how reliably a unit does its job once the fight starts, judged from sources that agree with each other rather than from one creator opinion.
Read the tiers as bands rather than as a ladder. Two units inside the same band are usually close enough that your star budget, not the ranking, should decide which one you bring. Where a placement rests on a single report rather than two, it is labelled that way in the unit database, so you can see how much weight the position deserves.
